ひもとダイス (又名: ストップダイス)（暫停骰｜Cubio）
魔術師展示了一個四方有色塊的方塊，有一條繩子穿過它。 他兩手握住繩子各別的一端，將其傾斜到垂直位置。 看當然開始從上向底部下落——但魔術師讓它按照他的命令『停止』方塊就會像是失去重力般立即暫停。邀請一位觀眾嘗試一下喊停，但令人沮喪的是，立方體只是直接沿著繩子掉下來，卻不能乖乖聽話。
A brightly coloured cube with a string passing through it is shown by the magician. With one end of the string in each hand, he tilts it to a vertical position. The cube of course starts to fall towards the bottom – but the magician causes it to start and stop its downward movement at his command. A spectator is now invited to try it, but to his dismay the cube justs drops straight down the string.
